I have written a few jQuery plugins of my own, which I would now like to share with you. The first in the series is called ‘truncatable‘. Simply put truncatable is a lightweight truncation plugin for jQuery. Designed for users who want to be able to hide and expand text on a page. This plugin is very SEO friendly, and ideal for environments where it is not possible to use PHP.
  • jQuery Link Nudge | Demo

Just recently Drew Douglass premiered a jQuery plugin that aimed at producing the same type of effect. I’ve taken some time to put together my own version of the jQuery nudging plugin.
  • Font Effect | Demo

Font effect is a jQuery plugin that add some effect to html text. The available effects are (for now) Outline, Shadow, Gradient and Mirror
  • NotesForLightBox | Demo

I'd like to recommend the Any+Time(TM) library for improved Date/Time selection. Adding a single line of JavaScript to your page makes it easy for a user to select a valid date and/or time with just a few mouse clicks--faster and easier than any other calendar widget I've seen. The current version supports jQuery and a legacy version for prototype.js is still available. Learn more at http://www.ama3.com/anytime/
