Adobe has released a sneak peek of the state-of-the-art content-aware crop. If you have used content-aware scale before, you should be quite familiar of how it works. Content-aware scale resize one part of your image, while keeping the important parts intact.
With Content-aware crop, it will fill in the gaps with computer generated image when you use the crop tool to rotate an image or expand your canvas beyond the image's original size. It will regenerate similar pattern so you probably won't notice it.
Here we have a YouTube video that demonstrates how it works.
This new feature will be released in the upcoming major update of Adobe Creative Cloud, stay tuned!
