Grid layout has been a pretty popular solution on website. As a front-end developer, I'm always happy to see new solution to a certain matter. They don't always doing the same thing and they have its own strengths.
Here we have jQuery Gridly created by Kevin Slyvestre. I played with it for a while and I really like its smooth transition and simplicity. You can achieve the following easily:
- Add remove button
- Add new block
- Reinitialise the position when you move or change the dimension of an element.
- Drag and drop
