There are so many useful online tools nowadays, I found myself have a few of them up my sleeve that I have been using because they are straight forward, quick and do exactly what they meant to do precisely and correctly. Most of the web development online tools are great time savers, and some even able to enhance the quality of your work and help you to produce high quality websites. One drawback though, when there isn't Internet connection you would not able to use them; in the other hand, if you are in client site, or remote area with Internet access, you will able to use them without any prior app installation.

Helvetica is my Hero - A creative illustration series of super heroes from A-Z with helvetica type face. Designed by René Mambembe, a french graphic student and illustrator. Speech bubbles are graphic convention used most commonly in comics, cartoons or illustrations. Infographics seem to be a real trend today, with new ones popping up daily on all sorts of subjects. From mortgages to ice cream, estimating software to infographics about infographics, there is very little now that hasn't been 'visualised' in some form. Many people don't realise that the term information graphic, or 'infographic' was first coined over 100 years ago, with the Coxcomb chart by Florence Nightingale in 1857 being one of earliest recognised examples. They have existed in many forms since then, but only in the past few years have infographics developed into the art form we know today.

I discovered this lovely illustration set for nerds in love from Nicole Martinez. Nicole translates love languages into something nerdy or geeky people would appreciate or understand it. It reminds me of the famous US comedy series "The Big Bang Theory" which centred on five characters who is geniuses, geeky and nerdy (except Penny). As a computer geek and not really a nerdy person, I actually understood most of them! Geez..., what a surprise. Some of them are really funny, I like them.

The growth of social community websites such as dribbble and behance, they've built a platform that encourages people to share their work and concept. Many people are using it to show off their works, many are looking for comment and criticism of their work for improvement.

As a big fan of minimal design, I always find myself collecting and bookmarking websites that talk about minimalism. I found this cool, funny and inspiring minimal illustrations from Erin Hanson few weeks ago.
